Gawd! The last few days have been unfairly hectic. It's amazing the amount of effort that goes into selecting and putting in place the smallest fixture in a new home. I've managed to lose weight simply by walking through the by lanes of the city markets and lugging around heavy bags. Of course catching a cold and running a temperature didn't ease the situation.
However, the housewarming ceremony went off very well and quite smoothly. My prayers were answered and the sun took a backseat to the rain gods. There were no hiccups and we were surrounded by everyone close to us making the day very memorable.
Of course, right now I am perhaps even more exhausted than I was before. And despite having movers and packers doing the heavy weight shifting, I don't think I can feel my feet anymore. As of now, all that I am desperately praying for is some sleep. But I guess even that has to wait for another month. *sigh*
I shall post pics of the new home once everything is in place. Until then wish me luck for my mind is reeling, my feet are aching and my back is crying out in pain.
