A quiet house after a whole week. Heaven! Treated myself to a nice, uninterrupted, toddler-free hour of yoga and meditation.
Now, time for some ice-cream. The phone is silent and I've finally managed to sit down and blog. Only, there are all these various thoughts bouncing about wildly in my head and nothing substantial manifesting out of it. Fun thoughts. Inspiring ideas. To-dos, of course. But they do carry the potential to churn out some interesting free-flowing conversation as well.
Let's see if I can manage to hold them down for a bit and bind them to bullet points. Guess it's a post about possible future posts or conversation starters.
Caution: Mental vomit ahead.
Here goes-
- We need more book cafes
- What food or beverage completely zens you out
- The infiltration of plastic. Steel soldiers to the rescue.
- Summer holidays with a toddler. Eep!
- Two whole months of no-school. Double eep!
- Maybe I should take up jogging
- Or cycling
- Ooor, guitar lessons!
- No wait! Baking lessons!
- Need to add more sarees to my wardrobe
- What kind of sarees would I want to wear?
- Oh, will have to get matching blouses....
- I need a dog
- What if it tears my brand new saree that I might purchase frommm....mmmm...we'll see about that.
- I'm supposed to get shots for B12. No needle is touching me EVER! Like NEVER! Never ever ever!
- I feel the poetry bubbles popping somewhere in me. Should I give NaPoWriMo a try?
- Microgreens are a thing now
- Indigo, Crystal, Rainbow, Diamond, Star Seed (go Google)
- Must shop for the summer
- Is there any ice-cream in the freezer?
- Must shop for summer
- I need to build a family photo album
- Where will I keep the albums?
- Need more book space too.
- Must shop for summer
- The next time we hang up a picture frame, I'm going to use the power drill whether they like it or not.
- Why can't I get the printer to work?! (I'm still firm about the power drill)
- We live in an age with all this advancement and still no effective lizard repellent!!
- I think Coorg is calling.
- Will there ever come a day when the front page of the newspaper does not carry details of a horrifying rape crime? A rape-free world. Possible? Such disillusioning state of affairs.
- Too hot to eat
- I feel hungry
So many thought seeds. Seeds because each one leads you to something else and then you're on a mental trip much like those moments in school after the lunch hour, looking out the window while teacher's voice is sadly reduced to white noise. Remember?
Of course, some of these thoughts definitely show spark and demand separate posts. Let's see what that's like in the next few weeks.
Here's the to the joy of mental gymnastics, word vomit, spacing out and being blah in general.
